Using Inside on the go

insideBase and insideCRM are built for iOS and Android as separate store apps from one shared React Native codebase. After selecting the workspace, the app only shows modules that are enabled for the product and tenant and permitted for your account.

Notification and security

  1. Open the app suitable for the workspace: insideBase or insideCRM.
  2. Sign in with username and password or the offered Microsoft/Google SSO.
  3. If necessary, confirm two-factor authentication and select the workspace.
  4. Protect the device with a device lock and biometrics because the app can remain signed in.

Session, tenant, and setup status are stored in secure device storage. Switching workspaces cannot change between insideBase and insideCRM; use the corresponding app instead.

Depending on enabled modules and permissions, email, calendar, chat, calls, and the dashboard are available as main tabs. If no dashboard is active, tickets may appear as the center tab. Additional areas are available from the workspace navigation.

insideCRM adds the Today view, global search, leads, customers, properties, deals, and the brokerage log. Depending on enabled capabilities, quick actions can start a call, email, chat, lead, task, document scan, or property workflow.

Administration areas appear only with management.read, users.manage, or settings.manage. Write actions additionally require the corresponding module permission.

Connectivity, files, and device permissions

Loading, searching, and changing data requires a network connection. If a connection fails, the current screen remains available and the action can be retried. Before repeating an action, verify whether the change already reached the server.

Files can be selected, photographed or scanned as a multipage PDF. For this, the operating system asks for camera, photo or file access. Only allow the access you need for the specific action.

Push, Chat and Calls

Push notifications can open the relevant email, chat, ticket, or call context. iOS also uses native VoIP and call interfaces for telephony. Notification, microphone, and call permissions can be revoked in system settings; the affected function will then be limited.
